Tennessee Korean Adoptees was created in April 2018 under the leadership of Whitney and Lee Fritz to support, serve, and connect adult Korean adoptees in the state of Tennessee. Currently, we have active members around the cities of Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville. Tennessee Korean Adoptees organizes monthly social activities, such as dinners and cultural activities, coordinated around each of the three local areas. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where Korean adoptees can build relationships with one another, explore their adoptive identity as well as Korean heritage, and connect with the broader international Korean adoptee community.
If you are an adult Korean adoptee (18 years of age or older) and would like to learn more, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or follow us on Facebook.
Please note – this group is not for adoptive parents, adoptee spouses, those simply interested in Korea, or adoption professionals.
